School House Rock! Miss Kate's 3rd Birthday

As you can see Leslie Marshall of, Jar of Vintage Buttons, has out done herself once again!

To celebrate Miss Kate’s 3rd birthday and the fact that she will be going to pre-school next year, Leslie created a vintage schoolhouse theme.  From fabric-decorated apples, to brown bag school lunches, and everyone’s favorite school supplies; not a single detail was left out to create the perfect school house party.

In fact, Leslie included so many details into her party it was impossible to post them all! However, I hope that you will enjoy these selections that range from the party set-up, the party festivities, and most importantly the birthday girl.

   Happy Birthday Miss Kate!

Meet Miss Emerson!

Introducing little Miss Emerson!

It is true what they say; little girls
are made of sugar, spice, and everything nice.
Emerson
proves that to perfection.

Sophia's Fall Shoot

One day this past fall, as I was uploading several family portrait previews, I realized that I had no current pictures of Miss Sophia.  So, like any camera-carrying momma, I decided it was time to take action.

Now a little fact about Miss Sophia is that she really does not like having her picture taken. Much like her momma, she would rather be the one behind the lens.

However, with a little love and the comical genius of my husband we were able to get a handful of smiles. But, more importantly we were able to capture the little quiet moments that make Sophia wonderfully unique, from her wild hair to her beloved feet stamps from gymnastics.

The Lagemann Family

I had the extreme pleasure of working with the Lagemann family several weeks ago. I have never met a family that showed so much loving kindness and joy for one another; it was truly wonderful!  During our session they kept one another on the edge of laughter and let me in on several family jokes.  Overall this session was an amazing experience-
Thank you Lagemann Family!

The Smith Family

As always I had a delightful time working with the Smith family. The kiddos were dressed with bright holiday colors and of course perfect smiles. We were having so much fun, even Baby Smith had to get in on the holiday picture happenings!
